Last Call for Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for March 2018. This month our theme is Last Call for Sale-a-Bration!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Ellen Downs – StampingwithEllen.com or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects

We have two more weeks of Sale-A-Bration and we are featuring products from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. You have two more weeks to make a $50 purchase from the Occasions Catalog to get an item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog for FREE. As of March 31st, the items in the Sale-A-Bration are gone forever.

Today I am featuring the Beautiful Peacock stamp set. You may have passed over this stamp set but these images have quite a few possibilites.

I used the Double Time Technique to make this card. You put the small Wisteria Wonder cardstock on top of the large Wisteria Wonder cardstock. You put a dab of adhesive on the back of the small piece of cardstock and center it over the large piece of cardstock. The adhesive is used to hold the pieces together for stamping. You stamp the Peacock images and sentiment on the cards as if you were working with one large piece of cardstock. You can even go off the edge if you like.

You take off the small piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock and glue it to the small piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock. You then glue these to the large piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock, matching them to the stamped images on the small piece of Wisteria Wonder. These are glued to the card base made of Elegant Eggplant.

Card Base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2 ” (folded in half)

Wisteria Wonder Cuts :   4″ x  5-1/4″       3″ x  4-1/4″

Elegant Eggplant Cut:      3 1/4″ x 4-1/2″

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are on my blog – Ellen Downs-www.stampingwithellen.com so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next on the list. –

National Craft Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our National Craft Month Blog Hop. Today I am using two of the favorites from our Occasions Catalog. This is the last month of SALE-A-BRATION and I don’t know if these will carry over to the 1918-1919 Annual Catalog or not.  We will know before the Annual Catalog comes out so you will have the opportunity to buy them.

The Flowers and the bird came from the Petal Palette stamp set (145788). They were colored with Stampin’ Blends (147475) and cut with the dies from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies (145655). The card was one of many cards included in the Petal Passion Memories and More Card Pack. Black rhinestones (144639) were added as garnish.

I hope you enjoy making this card.  You can now view the blogs from the other demonstrators.
